Three tips for Pre market Trading and Routine

The U.S. markets open at 9:30 EST however; some stock traders begin their trading day at the open of the pre-market beginning at 8:00 EST. One of the most important factors to consider when day trading in pre-market hours is there may often times be less volume than during regular stock market hours. This means, in general terms, there will be added risk to the trade because of the lack of volume. Be certain to use limit orders during pre-market stock trading since the spread is usually large at that time.

A stock trader’s pre-market routine is important to their success as a day trader. A pre-market strategy or routine helps the stock trader find different trading opportunities and gives them time to plan their day. This is so the stock trader is not spending time during market hours making new plans but able to focus on stock trading.  Stock traders also use pre-market hours to prepare for the trading day in general. The following is a list of four tips to a pre market routine:

•    Check previous day’s trading action
•    Review stock market news
•    Create a stock watch list

It is important to look at stock charts and review the trading action of the previous day. Noting this information gives the stock trader a better idea, in general, of what the general trend of the stock may be. This practice also helps one determine, not predict, what direction the stock may be inclined to follow during the current trading day. As already mentioned, this is not a prediction, only a forecast. This will help the stock trader decide how to trade a particular stock especially during premarket trading.

It is also a good idea to check the news related to any individual stock that has had drastic moves in either direction. If the move is news driven the stock trader will know how to handle the stock. After checking news related to individual stocks, it is a good practice to check the news of the overall market and get a feel for what the markets may offer during the trading day. Remember, the tone of the market can change at any moment so be prepared to move with it in whatever direction it decides to move.  Also, when reviewing the news, pay attention to specific events taking place on individual stocks such as analyst upgrades or downgrades, earnings reports, and FDA approvals or disapprovals.
Finally, the stock trader will make a list, also called a watch list, of different stocks they will monitor and possibly trade throughout the trading day. Stocks on a watch list usually have a high probability of presenting a profitable trade at some point during the trading day. This proves to be a highly successful routine as the stock trader has their research sitting in front of them instead of making highly emotional decisions during peak stock trading hours.

Implementing this practice of checking the previous day’s trading action, reviewing stock market and individual stock news, and creating a plan of action, or watch list, during pre-market hours makes it highly probable the stock trader will have more success. It is a good time to plan the day ahead and possibly make a few stock trades, depending on volatility before the stock market hours begin.  For more on premarket trading and other trading educational tools, check us out at www.tradestocksamerica.com

How and where can I receive stock trading education?

When I first started to trade stocks I had no idea what I was doing and I went in head first into trading. The first thing I did before trading stocks was watch CNBC, Jim Cramer and Fast Money. I thought that is what I needed to know and follow their advice when I would trade. Sometimes I wonder how lucky I was I didn’t burn through my whole account.

Over time I started to Google for stock trading education and came across multiple sites where they offered stock trading education programs and seminars but the only problem was is that they did not know what they were talking about. I was contacted by my brokerage firm which is TDAmeritrade and they helped me out a little bit but mostly wanted me to go to their offices which were far away from where I lived and I did not want to take the drive over there.

Since I did not know what I was doing when it came to trading and I didn’t have any one to teach me, I signed up for a site where they would make picks for me and I would “shadow” their stock picks. After losing a good chunk in my account and not learning anything about stock trading education I told myself that if I was going to do this I was really going to teach myself how to do it. I bought a couple of books and started to go into trading rooms and asking questions. I called my broker and asked them which the basic tools that I needed were. I also went on YouTube and started to search for trading tips and education. I found some okay videos but not a lot. I learned about moving averaged and volume from watching the videos and taking to my broker.

When I really started to get the hang of it was when I found a mentor to teach me how to become successful in trading. I knew with his help I could make it because he already had the experience and already had the lifestyle that I wanted to have. I was told to do certain things before I wanted to start trading.

  •     Trade in a virtual platform for 90days
  •     Read books that he recommended.
  •     Ask a lot of questions, even if I thought they dumb questions
  •     Get a hold of my emotions (real tough to learn)
  •     Study chart patterns
  •    Study every trade I did in the virtual account after the trading day was over
  •     Understand that you will not always get every single trade and might have to take a loss

After doing what he told me and trading on a virtual account I started to trade real money on my account and did quite well my first month of trading. I have had quite a few big losses but it was okay because the best stock trading education that someone can get is from making mistakes. The best tip of stock trading education that anyone could give is ALWAYS HAVE STOPS! I took a big hit and it was the last big hit I ever took.

If you are wanting to learn about stock trading education I would advise you to do research before starting and following the bullet points that I have listed above. If you would like to sign up to a educational and trading room TradeStocksAmerica.com is a great service that I personally use and I will continue to use. They help you with your trading and they also call out stock ideas and walk you through them.

As part of your Personal Development you need to adress your Fears and Anxieties

Personal Development begins in your mind!

As with go through our daily lives the world, many times, seems to push against us. It is as though we are like feathers in the wind being blown in this direction and that. However, you can begin to raise your sails and use that wind, hopping from one air current to the next, until they carry you to the destination of your choosing.

The most powerful way to influence the direction in which we sail is by consciously choosing the direction of our thoughts and feelings. It is our thoughts and feelings that direct our actions and it is our actions that determine where we go in life. It is never circumstances that determines your thoughts and feelings but how you perceive what has happened and how you respond to it internally. This response then affects your actions and reactions and these in turn affect your life. Many times we are on automatic pilot when we react to situations, events and people. Unfortunately, for a great majority of the time, these automatic responses are neither constructive nor life-enriching.

One of the most assured ways of becoming a conscious controller of our thoughts and feelings, and thus our actions, is to monitor and change our internal dialogue. To change your responses and reactions to events that take place in your life, you must first change how you view them. Say, you lose a key sale at work,  is this a disaster or a learning experience? Do you ask “Why does this always happen to me?”, “I can’t believe I was so stupid to lose that sale”, or do you ask “How did I contribute to this and what can I learn from it to ensure I don’t make the same mistakes again?”

Your internal dialogue and the words you use tend to show how you are feeling about the external events in your life. However this is a two-way street. By changing the pattern of this dialogue you can alter how you feel and think. By looking for the positive aspects behind the experience you will tend to stay more optimistic, learn to deal more effectively with similar events and attract better situations in the future.

Look at the quality of the questions you ask yourself on a day to day basis. “Do you ask, “Why can I not get that extra sale?” or “What do I need to do to get that extra sale?”. Can you see how your brain would react differently to these two questions? Ask why you can’t do something and your mind will respond by giving you a multitude of reasons. Ask how you can do it better or what you need to do to achieve your goal and your mind is sent in a completely different direction – it will now search for ways to get the job done and bring the outcome you desire!

Your focus determines your reality. Having a positive internal dialogue, that supports, encourages and expands you redirects your focus. You tend to focus on solutions and what you want rather than on what you do not want. What you focus on expands. If your focus is constantly centred on the things that are wrong in your life you will tend to get more of them or at the very least you will always experience those same things. Begin, now,  to use your own self-talk to your advantage. Inwardly talk approvingly and encouragingly to yourself. Ask yourself quality questions that inspire you and drive you to look for answers instead of guiding you into wallowing in self-pity and victim-mode.

As we progress through life, and especially when we strive to create the life we want, we continually encounter challenges and difficulties as the world pushes against us. Problems, disappointments, failures and upsets all play their part in the symphony of life. They are a part of the human condition. But in and of themselves they are just experiences. It is how we react to them that determines whether we are happy , sad, frustrated, angry or apathetic. By responding in a different, more positive, way you can begin to change your life for the better and feel happier and more content also.

If you take a look at anyone who has achieved anything of real value you will find that they encountered many problems and difficulties. No two people experience the same problems in the same way. It seems we live in a wise and all-knowing Universe that directs life experience to each individual based on what they need to learn and what they can handle. A major problem to me, that causes anxiety, stress and heartache, may be a walk in the park for you! We each experience our own hardships in our own ways. The difference between the ones who use these hardships to grow, learn, evolve and eventually succeed is their belief system.

Your belief system is easy to identify. Listen to the way you talk to yourself and others. Pay attention to even the smallest details. Then begin to change your internal dialogue. Never finish a negative sentence. Once you catch yourself saying a negative, stop! Reverse it! Phrase it in a way that empowers you. Make a question out of it, one that forces your mind to seek the answers that will drive you forward instead of holding you back. This is what I refer to as Personal Development Power Talk and it is extremely effective. Change your internal dialogue and you will change your life.

During a presentation on personality development the biggest isue to address is fear which by the definition of fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.

From Aaaaah To Ahaa! – Treating Phobias Through Hypnotherapy

In some cases, hypnotherapy for phobias works on the theory of making the subconscious mind realize that the phobia is irrational. This is done with the help of auto suggestions and positive enforcements like hypnosis induction scripts. The subconscious is made aware that though the fear might have served a specific purpose in your childhood, it holds no relevance in your life as an adult; by being fed these suggestions on a regular basis, your subconscious will learn to distance itself from the fear and eventually discard it for good.

There is a common factor between phobias and hypnotherapy; they are both related to the subconscious. However, while one is irrational and undesirable, the other is all about self discovery and self innovation.

Home Loan Comparison. Best Home Loan Selection

When is a home loan comparison not a true way to compare home loans? When the home loan comparison doesn't truly access a wide enough range of financial services, that's when. In other words, if the tool being used to compare loans has a limited number of accessible services then its value is dubious

PropertyNow has a service that does access a suifficient number of mortgage services independently.

The site is a super useful resource for both property buyers and sellers alike. The buyers can search all Australian real estate listings while sellers can use the website to get on realestate.com.au

The PropertyNow website has become famous over the past 6 years because of its fight to help sale by owner sellers across Australia to access bothe realestate.com.au and domain as well as several other "agent only " websites .

Investment 101: The Basics of Money Market Mutual Funds

From the various types of mutual funds that you can find in the market today, you’ll probably be in a daze in choosing which one is best for an investment. Well, the answer largely depends on your interest and the nature of the investment that you’ll want to make. If you’re meaning to bank on short-term investments with much lesser risks, you could try investments involving money market mutual funds. These are investments running on a short-term basis with lower risks of non-return of profits. Yup, to the wary investor, this type of mutual funds can provide the optimum security that you’ll want for your investments.

The money market, a segment of the financial market that focuses on short-term debts and securities investments, (unlike the capital market which deals with long-term investments involving equities and bonds) is controlled by the government, particularly by the Securities and Exchange Commissions (SEC). Hence, investments that enter this mutual funds market are largely regulated to only come in the form of high quality ones. Indeed, money market mutual funds offer the following securities for your investments: liquidity, safety and high yields.

Because the market is regulated, the net asset value per share of your investments is often pegged to be not lower than $1. This basically means that when you but stocks for about $2000, you’ll get an eventual return of the same amount plus a nominal yield depending on the market trend (but this is definitely a savory yield). Well, there could be times when the value falls lower than this but those times are very, very rare. Oftentimes, these losses are even absorbed by the company sponsoring the stocks so you’ll have a good safety net for your investments.

There are many money market instruments that you can choose from in investing with mutual funds. These include notes, bonds, treasury bills and certificates. These are often in the form of borrowing and lending funds that often takes a year to mature in returns and profits. These funds can be obtained from banks or from the government; but most experts would advise that you invest on notes and bonds coming from banks.

Although money market mutual funds do promise high investment yields with low risks, getting successful deals with them still requires effort on your part. Like in any other type of investment, the best weapon that you could arm yourself with when dealing with mutual funds is information. As long as you know how to spot high quality investment deals and you know the measures to lower the risks attached with them, then you’re safe on your mutual funds. Of course, keeping yourself informed requires that you do researches about the money market. As much as possible, you should get some advices from professionals and experts in the field. Ultimately, you should educate yourself on the mutual funds basics so you’ll avoid unwittingly entering into bad investments.

There are plenty of online sites that offer advice and services regarding investments with money market mutual funds. You could try some of these sites to gain more knowledge about this component of the financial market.

Money Market Mutual Funds: Risks and Opportunities

Investments involving mutual funds can be a lucrative deal if you know the secrets of the trade, particularly about which type of mutual funds you’ll have better chances of gaining returns.  If you’re particularly aiming for a low-risk but high returns investment, you could try going on a venture with money market mutual funds. These are short-term investments in a government-regulated market and offer relatively optimum security than other mutual funds while guaranteeing high profit returns. Of course, this is not to say that this is the perfect mutual fund that you could invest upon in the market; it is not exempted from the natural laws of the trade. Yet, constantly keeping a tab on your portfolio and equipping yourself with the right information will ultimately bring you that path of high investment returns.

Among the key concepts about money market mutual funds are that they are ‘short-term’ and ‘secure’. Unlike your investments in the capital market, investments with this type of funds usually only lasts for about a year or two and then you’ll start gaining your yields. These funds are also one of the most secure on the market (as said, the investments involved with them are regulated by the government).  Indeed, the Securities and Exchange Commission ensures that investments in the money market are 1) Holding a certain period of maturity for the investments 2) of high quality and belong to high rating categories 3) highly diversified (portfolios shouldn’t accumulate holding on one single investment).

Hence, money market mutual funds hold the following characteristics: they are relatively secure, safe and easy to be liquidated.

Of course, ‘secure’ here means that you just have more chances of getting back your investment together with the nominal yields compared with other mutual funds. There are still, of course, natural factors in the stock market that can affect the performance of your investments.  After all, one of the reasons why the money market is a place for high investment returns is the risks that you are buying with the funds. Nonetheless, losses in involving money market mutual funds, though not unheard of, are very rare.

Indeed, the money market, though known to be more stable than the stock market and the bonds market, is still not immune to losses. This may happen when the investment pool bought by the mutual funds that you’ve invested upon suddenly loses their value in the market. Nonetheless, most money market sponsors shoulder the losses, thanks to the rules set by the SEC.

Ultimately, the best strategy when investing with money market mutual funds is to be informed about the latest trend in the market. Reading the prospectus of your investment is also a strongly advised measure so you’ll know the elements of your investments. Another common advice is to spread your investments into different funds, thereby spreading the risks that would be attached with them.

A good investor knows the value of information, even with money market mutual funds. To familiarize yourself more with this type of mutual funds, you can check out known websites in the Internet that offer more detailed discussions.

Free Online Golf Lessons

Nothing is Free…Except Online Golf Lessons?

I can read your mind already. You are thinking that, with all the money you’ve just spent buying golf clubs, a membership to the local golf course, hundreds of golf balls (after all, you’re going to lose a bunch, right?), and even some golf clothes, what difference is it going to make in your budget to get free golf lessons? Of course, every little bit you save is going to make a difference, and you probably feel justified in asking for free golf lessons after all the money you have spent.

Best Golf Swing

The question is, where can you get anything for free these days? Honestly, it may be difficult to find free golf lessons, especially since the sport itself is so costly and exclusive. However, there are several places you can begin looking, such as any local community centers that offer free classes on various topics from time to time. Check into listings for golf classes or a random session with tips and tricks on golfing. Also, check with the manager at the course you frequent; they are bound to have a session or two of free golf lessons at some point in your future.

Golf Swing Instruction

You can even find materials that offer free golf lessons on the Internet, ranging from lists of various helpful hints to full instructional videos that will offer instruction at no charge. In fact, you could even bank on the generosity of a friend or family member, especially whoever got you involved in the sport to begin with, to give you a couple of free golf lessons to help you become more competitive and confident in your play. If you move up and start teeing off from the forward tees, others at the course will take notice as well, and there are always friendly souls who are willing to spend a little time critiquing your stance or correcting your swing without billing you for their assistance. Usually, these people enjoy sharing their wisdom and letting others know just how experienced they are, which can be a great opportunity to further your knowledge. If you can’t seem to find satisfactory attention for free, you could also check into inexpensive clinics at some of the nearby public golfing facilities or, again, at community centers in the area. When a number of people show interest in such seminars, the cost is generally quite low and can be a great alternative to free golf lessons when they are not available. Whatever you do, don’t spend any more unnecessary cash securing lessons; after everything you’ve spent to get into the sport, be reasonable and find a way to save money!
